Kat & Ben are a LA-based duo of voice and bass. We use electronics, multiple tuning systems and live processing to weave through original compositions and sometimes interpretations.

The duo formed out of the California Institute of the Arts where we found we had a mutual affinity (and differences) for expressing semi-improvised and semi-composed, grounded and weightless suspended song forms.

Check our our debut album "Cycles on Cycles". The physical version comes with original artwork by Marta Tiesenga and is designed as a personal notebook for YOUR listening experience.
